 A week after an apparent Ukrainian attack on a Russian military base in occupied Crimea, an arms store on another depot has been hit by a series of explosions. 

 

 

Russian officials said a fire triggered the blasts in the Dzhankoi area - before later blaming "sabotage". A separate fire broke out at power substation and a railway was damaged. 

 

 

A string of blasts last week destroyed Russian warplanes at a Black Sea base on the Crimean coast.

Faltaban pocos minutos para las nueve y media de la mañana cuando esta empresa química ha estallado en llamas. Así lo explica Clara García, una testigo de lo ocurrido:

TOTAL CLARA GARCÍA:"TODOS LOS BIDONES LLENOS DE DISOLVENTE HAN EMPEZADO A ESTALLAR, SE VEÍAN BOLAS DE FUEGO"

Un trabajador de la empresa siniestrada ha resultado herido por quemaduras en el seis por ciento de su cuerpo y ya ha sido dado de alta.

150 empresas de este polígono industrial de Paterna, Valencia, han sido desalojadas por las grandes llamaradas y el intenso humo. Varias empresas colindantes también han sido pasto de las llamas.

TOTAL TESTIGO: "NOS CONTABAN QUE HABÍA SIDO VISTO Y NO VISTO, QUE ESTABAN ENVASANDO Y QUE ESTABA TODO CORRECTO, PERO SE HA PRENDIDO UNA LLAMA Y ESTABAN ASUSTADOS Y PREOCUPADOS".

El Ayuntamiento de Paterna ha suspendido las clases de los colegios próximos a la industria siniestrada y ha recomendado a los vecinos mantener las ventanas cerradas como media de precaución. El viento, que soplaba con fuerza, ha ayudado a la dispersión de humo y partículas.
