There
are fears for the thousands of people trapped in and around Mosul as
the battle continues to push ISIL out of the Iraqi city.
The UN says
ISIL, or the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant group, also known as
ISIS, is executing people and using others as human shields.
At least 85 civilians have been killed in two incidents this week.
Al Jazeera's Hoda Abdel-Hamid reports from Erbil in northern Iraq.
