I love all the posts, I really enjoyed. I would like more information about this, because it is very nice., Thanks for sharing. will explain my requirement first. I have an Informatica Job which has a mapping variable $$Month_Count for which value will be passed through parameter file. But, now my client has placed a request like the ETL job should be scheduled three times a month and for each run the $$Month_Count values will be 12, 6 and 3. For Example: In current month: For First run - $$Month_Count=12 should be passed, For Second run - $$Month_Count=6 should be passed and For Third run - $$Month_Count=3 should be passed. And for next month same values should be passed for the three runs(starting with 12, 6and 3). And he made a restriction like this should be achieved using single mapping and workflow and it needs to be automated. Excellent tutorials - very easy to understand with all the details. I hope you will continue to provide more such tutorials.
What a brilliant post I have come across and believe me I have been searching out for this similar kind of post for past a week and hardly came across this.
Yeah, I kind of wanted to know this as well, since I think the autogenic. item number is much longer than the one used in PIM7 which could cause problems for some. For the versions, remember major.minor.update.hotfix.ebf there are allot of confusion for this. So afaik latest version is 8.0.03.02.xx meaning update 3 HF2.
Thank you very much and will look for more postings from you.
