Unexpectedly
strong Chinese manufacturing data has boosted the Australian Dollar,
while the Bank of Japan makes no change, leaving the Yen unmoved.
The EUR / USD currency pair is looking significantly stronger, rising quite sharply at the end of last week and getting established just below 1.1000.
The Australian Dollar is looking bullish again, even against a strong U.S. Dollar, and is now approaching its long-term highs at and above the 0.7700 level.
The GBP / USD currency pair is consolidating between 1.2300 and 1.2100, but the longer-term outlook still looks bearish.
